These terms cover your use of Mailbox Alert. We have kept them readable. By using the Service, you agree to what follows.
By using Mailbox Alert ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be 18 or older and a U.S. resident. You must own or have authorized access to the Ring devices you connect to the Service.
The Service analyzes snapshots from your own Ring cameras to tell you about activity at your own mailbox: mail delivery, package drop-offs, and mailbox visits. Postal and delivery carriers are recognized only as a category — by uniform, equipment, or vehicle livery — never as individuals. The Service does not perform facial recognition, does not read license plates, and does not read addresses, names, or any text on mail. You may not use the Service to monitor property you do not own or control, to track or identify any individual, or in any manner inconsistent with applicable law.
Paid plans are billed through the Ring Appstore and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your Ring account. No refunds for partial billing periods.
Mailbox Alert is a convenience and awareness tool. Detection is probabilistic and may produce false positives, false negatives, or delayed notifications. The Service is not a security system, is not designed to prevent mail theft or any crime, and is not a replacement for professional security monitoring, official postal tracking services, or law enforcement. Do not rely on the Service for anything time-sensitive or safety-critical.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erbacci LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss, theft, or damage of mail or packages.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may terminate at any time by unlinking your Ring account or deleting your account from Settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
